Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 10, 2026
Menu Mod is designed to be privacy-friendly. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it and how it is handled.
What We Collect
We collect the minimum amount of data needed to function:
- Feedback content: When you submit feedback, the rating and the feedback text you entered are sent to us so we can read and act on it.
- Email address (optional): In the feedback form, you may optionally provide an email address if you would like a reply to your feedback. It is never required and is only collected if you choose to provide it.
No other personal data is collected. We do not collect your name, browsing history, IP address or any data about your device.
How We Use Your Data
- Feedback content: Used only to review and improve Menu Mod.
- Email address: Used solely to reply to your feedback. We will not add you to mailing lists, send you marketing or contact you for any other purpose.
What We Do Not Do
- We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We never share your personal data with third parties.
- We do not use your email for marketing or promotional purposes.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Feedback submissions, including any optional email address, are stored in a password-protected database and are only accessible to the developer. All your other Menu Mod data (context menu items, templates and settings) never leaves your browser and is stored locally on your device.
Data Retention & Deletion
Feedback submissions are kept only as long as needed to process and act on your feedback. If you provided an email address and later want your feedback or email removed, contact us through the Chrome Web Store listing and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
